Cinematographers are the most important pillar holding a film together. Visually capturing the essence of a film and being able to convey it the way it is expected is a very crucial skill not everyone is able to master. And so, we have on board, Vishnu Rao, Bollywood’s one of the best cinematographers. He is an alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune and is also a faculty member and mentor there currently along with conducting regular workshops. His commendable cinematography in films like ‘Bhoothnath’ which was also his debut is well acclaimed in Bollywood. He went on to do great films like ‘Ek villain’, ‘Prince’, 'Aashiqui 2’ ‘Half Girlfriend’, ‘Dhadak’, ‘Good Newwz’ and many more throughout his career. Excelling in knowledge of the lenses and other devices used for filming, Vishnu Rao has reached great heights through his dedication and passion for cinematography. Adding to his achievements, let us tell you that he is also the mastermind behind on-point action scenes shot in the sea in the film ‘Ek Villain'.
To impart and enhance the art of production design, we at Raywings Filmcore have joined hands with Muneesh Sappal, an Indian Production Designer and Art Director , best known for his work in Paheli which was one of India’s official entry in the ‘Best Foreign Film’ category of the Golden Globe Awards 2005 and Oscars 2006. Bringing on the table his extensive experience and knowledge after being a part of films like ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, Pinjar’,‘The Stick House’ and ‘Gadar 2’, ‘Bhoothnath’ , etc. Muneesh Sappal will now be a mentor for all the aspiring Production designers through Raywings Filmcore. He has also been associated with various institutes like Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, National School of Drama (NSD), Delhi, Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts (BADA), Lucknow and has also been a Faculty of Drama at Mumbai University. As an Art Director he has designed and assembled a proscenium drama theatre, an auditorium for Yuva Shakti Modern School Rohini, New Delhi, a mega set for the historical occasion of the 50th year of Independence celebration at Rajpath Vijay Chawk, New Delhi. He has also designed theme parks on the Mughal Era for Heritage Pvt. Ltd. He has also been honoured by Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi Awards and Uttar Pradesh Awadh Asmitha Samman for the titles – Remarkable Contribution in the field of Theatre Art Direction and Remarkable Contribution in the field of Cinema Art Direction. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that he has left no stone unturned in the field of Production Design and Art Direction.
Visual effects director and supervisor, Biju Dhanpalan is known for his VFX in 115 feature films . He is a top-tier visual effects director and supervisor in the Indian film industry for 25 years . His visual effects work in movies like ‘PK’, ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Neerja’, ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’, ‘Dhamaka’, to name a few is very well acclaimed. His film ‘Bhoothnath’ even won ‘Best Special Effects’ category in the 15th Screen Awards. In parallel to his film industry career, the IIT alumni was an Associate Professor at the School of Art, Design, and Media (ADM) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore where he taught VFX, motion capture, 3D animation, and virtual production processes.
Dinesh Pal, a Chartered Accountant with a record of more than 21 years in the media and entertainment Industry, has kept at it with numerous industry leaders. He has been a perk in various stages of film production for films like ‘Bhoothnath’, ‘Ittefaq’, ‘Bareilly ki Barfi’, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, ‘Bhoothnath Returns’, ‘Hulchul’, ‘Mela’, ‘Baadshah’, and more from the Legal, Administrative, Finance, and Taxation perspective. Being a good financial advisor, his experience in the film industry ranges from investment, setting up accounting processes, getting the accounting done, preparing budgets, project reports, and cost estimates for film financing, budgeting and variance calculations, ensuring compliances and filings as per various regulations, liaising with banks, private financers, income tax, MVAT & service tax authorities. He has the expertise to assess, negotiate, define and document the terms applicable with professionals, distributors, producers, and other stakeholders. From the finance and taxation frame of mind in the entertainment industry, Mr. Dinesh is up and about with the latest trade practices, Laws, and Regulations. He is currently associated with large corporations, popular production houses like Vishesh Films, BR Films, Pooja Entertainment, etc. and upcoming banners.
Trained by choreographer Zubin on Jazz, contemporary, and Bharatnatyam, Rajeev Surti has over 400 foot-tapping numbers in Bollywood . Ganesh Hegde, Vaibhavi Merchant, and Raju Khan taught him the Bollywood style. His passion for dance and choreography has made him a master of Indian folk, classical, krumping, b-boy, hip-hop, break dancing, popping, locking, ballet, salsa, tango, and jive. He got his big break in Bollywood as a choreographer for the film ‘Don’, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra. From there on, there was no looking back, just crunk and footwork in films like 'Baabul’ , 'Namaste London’ , ‘Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Naa , 'Dabangg’ , 'Golmaal 3’ , 'Raees' and many more impressive films where he has not only choreographed but put a story forward through the songs. That ain't it, Rajeev Surti has also choreographed stars like Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, and many more. The successful choreographer is the founder of 'Rajeev Surti Dance Factory’, a space where dancers get funky and bust a groove in U.S.A, Udaipur, and Mumbai.
An outstanding Sound designer and Mixing Engineer who has done his trick on more than 300 films. Best known for his work in 'Mohabbatein' , 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Baghban'’, 'Kal Ho Naa Ho’, 'Dhoom 2’, 'Bhoothnath’ , 'Chak De! India’ , 'The Dirty Picture’ , 'Go Goa Gone’ , 'Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani', 'Andhadhun' for which he won an IIFA award for 'best sound mixing’ category, 'Pati Patni Aur Woh, and the latest '83' and 'Atrangi Re’. His films have been featured in prestigious International Film Festivals like Busan, Cannes, Venice, and Berlin Film Festival. The sound wizard at the moment is a guest faculty in FTII, Pune, which he is also an alumnus of and Satyajit Ray Film Institute, and other reputed institutes. Ajay Kumar has professionally worked with popular directors like Ravi Chopra, Ayan Mukherji, Anand L Rai, Sriram Raghavan, Milan Luthria, Nagesh Kukkunoor, Nikhil Advani, K Vikram Kumar, Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Gupta, Ramgopal Verma, Karan Johar and many more. Apart from his success in the Bollywood film industry, he has done movies across a number of languages. Ajay Kumar brings along extensive hands-on experience and to top it off he is an acoustic consultant and studio designer who has designed more than 25 studios all over India.
